Hospital Murder Suicide due to Alzheimer's

I found out that my parents were actually at the hospital when the shooting happened. Dad was there for his heart rehabilitation therapy. He said that a security guard came in to the room, and whispered something to the employees. Dad said all the employees started frowning, but nothing was said about what was going on. No indication that the hospital was put into any kind of "lock down".

After several days of watching the news it seems that Mrs. Riddle was transferred from a local nursing home to UPMC as she was suffering from Alzheimer's. The family has requested memorial donations to be send to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
